The Halal Products Development Company has announced the signing of a partnership agreement with the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) to enhance and develop the halal industry sector, driving its growth and expansion locally.

The partnership agreement aims to advance the halal industry through collaboration with MODON.
The Halal Products Development Company will offer its leading consultancy services to qualify
companies by launching the "Halal Industries Development Program" to boost the industry, achieve
sustainable development, build awareness of opportunities in the sector, and provide consultancy
and technical services for manufacturing halal products. The agreement also includes cooperation
in research and development fields, and the launch of specialized industrial clusters to raise the
sector's competitiveness and enhance the operational environment.
This agreement is part of the company's efforts to expand its influence and strengthen cooperation
in the halal field, based on the premise that the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology
Zones is a vital partner in achieving the economic goals for the sector's growth.
Fahad Al-Nuhait, CEO of the Halal Products Development Company, stated that this agreement contributes to
supporting the national economy and enhancing the Kingdom's position as a leading center in the halal industry.
He noted that the partnership aims to provide immense opportunities for the private sector to benefit from the
consultancy and technical expertise offered by the company, with the goal of expanding and growing the halal industry.
Meanwhile, Engineer Majed Rafed Al-Argoubi, CEO of the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON),
explained that the agreement aims to offer opportunities and contribute to localizing the halal industry, highlighting the
enormous economic and investment potential that this sector possesses.
Notably, Jazan City for Primary and Downstream Industries houses a special economic zone dedicated to the food industries,
including the Kingdom's first animal protein city. This zone specializes in the modern processing of meat, fish, and crustaceans,
underscoring the Kingdom's commitment to advancing its food processing capabilities.
